Fresh films - from Berlin to Trondheim

18 films in six days. That is what Kosmorama director Ola Lund Renolen managed to see during this years Berlinale.

- Three films a day should be the minimum during a festival. But I had some meetings to attend as well, says Ola, back in Trondheim.
In his backpack he has got some 20 DVDs, among which there just might be some gold.

During the 10 days of the Berlin International Film Festival over 400 films are screened.
- Nobody is able to see everything, and I must admit I focused on the competition section. One has to assume that is where the best films will be, he continues.

Kosmorama has on several occasions been able to present the film winning the Golden Bear in Berlin the same year.
- I think I know which one will win this year, says Ola. Alongside festival producer Bente Maalen he covered the Berlinale continuously for Kosmorama's followers on Twitter, where the festival is called @kosmoramafilm.

Here are a few tweets from Berlin:

- WIR SIND DIE NACHT. Energetic German vampire film. Fills all your needs. Will be screened after nightfall in Trondheim in April. Ola - Berlin

- Potential Golden Palm for Iranian NADER AND SIMIN. It has a lot on its mind and is narrated in a fascinating manner. Ola - Berlin

- Weak competition section in Berlin. The best films are in the side sections. We are definitely getting the sequel to Mid-August Lunch, THE SALT OF LIFE. Ola - Berlin

- BROWNIAN MOVEMENTS by Nanouk Leopold is festival stuff. Adds new meaning to the word uncompromising. Not much spoon-feeding here. Ola - Berlin

- LIFE IN A DAY. 5000 hours of film from 190 different countries, shot during one day on earth, edited down to 95 min. Best film in Berlin so far. Ola - Berlin
