
Debutantprisen til I`ve Loved You So Long
Kosmorama er talentenes filmfestival. Talentprisen er på NOK 50.000, og går til vinnerfilmens produsent og regissør.
De nominerte til Debutantprisen er valgt fra hele filmprogrammet, og omfatter i år hele 17 spille- og dokumentarfilmer.
Debutantprisen går til filmen I`ve Loved You So Long.
Regissør er Philipe Claudel og produsent er Sylvestre Guarino.
Juryen har bestått av Dag Hoel, Gyda Velvin Myklebust og Elena Pollacchi.
Deres begrunnelse er som følger:
"Honorary Mention"
The jury wishes to give an honorary mention to SHakespeare & Victor Hugo`s Intimacies, directed and produced by Yulene Olaizola and Ingeles Castro Gurria as we were taken by the courage of the filmmakers.
The director takes a familiar matter to create an increasingly surprising and intriguing story that becomes more and more relevant for all of us as long as the narrative evolves. What begins as an innocent anecdote hides unexpected twist.
Through simplicity and intelligent narration the film develops and complex picture which has left the jury impressed by the director`s talent.
Best first time director
The winner of the Debutant award is I`ve Loved You So Long, directe by Philippe Claudel and produced by Sylvestre Guarino.
The film has convinced the jury by its elegant narrative and condfident grip on the art of filmmaking. It reveals a heart-breaking story that comes thorough by eloquent acting strongly supported by the intense perfomance by Kristin Scott Thomas.
It comes out as mature and accomplished wordk highly impressing for a first tilme feature filmmaker.
Prisen ble delt ut på Nova kino i Trondheim Tirsdag 10 mars kl 18.00
