Los Bastardos vant Kosmoramaprisen

Kosmoramaprisen er festivalens hovedpris og går til beste film i Hovedkonkurransen.

Prisen på 100 000 kr går til en norsk filmdistributør, til innkjøp av vinnerfilmen for kinolansering i Norge. Om vinnerfilmen allerede har norsk kinodistribusjon mottar distributøren 50 000 kr.
Kosmoramaprisen går til filmen Los Bastardos av Amat Escalante.

Juryen har bestått av Julietta Sichel, Pascal Träschlin og Lisa Werlinder.

Deres begrunnelse er som følger:
“Out of 14 strong contenders from all over the world, the jury – after long discussions – unanimously decided to give the award of 100.000 Norwegian Kr as a support for the distribution of the Mexican-French-US co-production Los Bastardos by Amat Escalante. This unique feature, which shows a great talent of the filmmaker impressed the jury, that acknowledges the films fresh and innovative apporach to the cinematic language and mainly the strong portrayal of the lack of humanity in the two worlds that usually never intersect.”
