Merethe and Jørgen live together without worries, until they challenge each other to get married. They both believe that the other will chicken out as they plan a very bourgeoise and traditional family wedding. When that isn’t happening, the only solution is to play as many mean tricks on the other as possible.

In this story, Charlotte Blom and Karianne Lund are playing with the romantic comedy genre. In her award winning shorts Kokos and A Sunday in Schweigaardsgate, Charlotte Blom has shown that she masters the off beat comedy that Balansefaen, too, is based on.

Shooting is scheduled for the summer of 2010.
