Horror and fantasy - Italian style.

Minimalen is pleased to introduce the Italian cult-film director Luigi Cozzi. In this Masterclass he will share his experiences working as a horror/fantasy director and as close collaborator with famed horror legend Dario Argento. He will also give us a close-up on the Italian horror craze during the 1980's. Furthermore, young filmmakers can look forward to be educated in special-effects film making, as Cozzi shows how to create visual tricks and illusions. Prepare yourself for blood, Giallo, stop-motion monsters and Italian cult-movies, when Luigi Cozzi enters the stage.

Luigi Cozzi is an Italian director, screenwriter and film critic. He has worked with actors spanning from Klaus Kinski, Christopher Plummer, Donald Pleasence to David Hasselhoff. His filmography includes cult classics like The Killer Must Kill again, Contamination, Starcrash and Hercules. Cozzi has over several years cooperated with horror legend Dario Argento, and runs the movie memorabilia store Profondo Rosso in Rome.
