For the fifth time Kosmorama International Film Festival invites Norwegian filmmakers to present their idea for a film for a live audience at the Nova multiplex. The rules are crystal clear: The filmmakers are given seven and a half minute to make an impression and another seven and a half minute to answer questions from a jury consisting of the profiles Erlend Loe, Karin Julsrud and Harry Guttormsen.

The competing filmmakers are either selected from submitted contributions or specially invited talents. The prize is 100 000 NOK and the opportunity to be discovered by spies from the industry. It was here the production company Filmkameratene found Norways greatest film success Max Manus, and we expect new sensations this year as well. For the industry attending “Film pitch” is a must, and a nerve wrecking and entertaining experience for the audience. The prize is awarded during the Kanon Award Show, March 9th.
