Lukas Moodyssons debut Show Me Love (1998) really hit the spot for young people at the time. We were past the first teenage angst, and we reveled in the film for month, using the many unforgettable quotes frequently at that summer’s parties. Lukas Moodysson became a firm favourite, with his joyful observations and delightfully embarrassing scenes. For us young’uns, the issues were easily recognizable.
