Container appears to be a weird side step or a breathing space in the career of Lukas Moodysson. After the difficult A Hole in My Heart (2004), a film radically different from his earlier work, Moodysson goes even further this time. Container is no straight story, it could be interpreted as a dream. The film’s themes revolve around transvestism, mild S&M and fetishism. This is undoubtedly one of the more ambitious and peculiar films at this year’s festival.
